What is it about r/c ?

For as long as I can remember, I've loved anything that was radio controlled. That's still the case. I now have r/c cars, planes and a helicopter. It's a fun hobby, but if not kept in check can become pretty expensive!

Cars

I've been through a number of R/C cars, trucks and buggies over the years. It started back in the early 80's with a Tamiya Grasshopper, since then I've had on-road, off-road, electric and nitro. Now, I've scaled down a bit and am having fun with an Associated RC18T (1/18 scale 4wd truck).

Planes

Planes can be intimidating and hard to fly.. that's why I started with the Trick R/C Zagi 400X. It's basically a foam wing, with a pusher propellor.

Helicopter

I picked up an E-Flite Blade CX-2 a little while ago. It's got counter-rotating blades, which help keep it more stable - making it a great heli to learn with. However, that doesn't mean it's hard to crash!
