Back in October , I picked up this 1994 Mazda Miata from a guy down in L.A. Only 55k miles, upgraded sway bars, new Bilstein shocks, hardtop, and in great condition. Since then, I've added wheels from a 2001 Toyota MR2 (with super-sticky Falken Azenis tires), Flyin' Miata springs, a Hard Dog Ace roll bar, and Hella E-Code headlights. The car is in great shape and is a BLAST to drive. I've found all kinds of good information at Miata.net, and have joined a local Miata Club (SAMOA). There is a ton of aftermarket support for these cars, and they've got reputations as "Track Terrors" on autocross and road courses.

Photography

Most of what you'll find here are photos I've taken over the years. I love shooting cars, landscapes and capturing memories from our travels. Over the years, I've progressed from simple point and shoot 35mm cameras to point and shoot digitals, high-end 35mm, and now I'm using a Digital Rebel XT (digital SLR) with a Sigma 70-300mm lens. For post-production, I'm using an Apple MacBook (2.0Ghz processor, 2Gb Ram). This is a departure for me, as I've been a PC user for a long time and swore by them. But now I can see why people who use Macs swear they're the best. If I want to play video games, I'll still use my PC though!
When I was looking for a new camera, I did some research by reading the reviews on sites like dpreview.com, steves cameras.com and more.. I found the reviews very helpful in making my decision.

'71 Dodge Dart Swinger

My '71 Dodge Dart has been a labor of love over the past few years. When I got it, it was all stock (original paint, interior, engine, etc).. Now, it's got a new engine, transmission, rear end, suspension, brakes, dash, interior and more. I'm repainting it the original color (GY3 Citron Yella/Curious Yellow), which is not a common color to find on t he Darts. It's a color that was only available in 1971, and out of the 100,000+ Darts made in '71, only 1% of them were painted this color. My goal is to have it completed for Hot August Nights '07.

Internet presence

ok.. I think I may have a problem. I have this site, a MySpace page, my SmugMug photo site and a blog. .. do I need to look into a 12 step program?
