'71 Dodge Dart Swinger
I picked up the Dart about 4 years ago as a 'project' car. It has definitely been a project (understatement of the year). However, I'm taking my time, and being pretty thorough throughout the process. I've upgraded the engine (4bbl 360, headers, Edelbrock Performer manifold and carb, CompCams XE268 cam/lifters/springs, MSD 6AL ignition), transmission (Griner reverse manual valvle body, Red clutches, low gear set, 2800rpm stall converter, Mopar deep oil pan, Koleans steels, and Kevlar bands), 8 3/4" rear end (3.55 Sure-Grip, Yukon axles with big bolt pattern), and front brakes from a later model A-Body with large bolt pattern. Now that I've got the drivetrain all upgraded, I'm working on the wiring (replacing the entire harness front to rear with a wiring kit from E-Z Wiring. I've also started on the body/paint on the car, which (fortunately) hasn't been too bad, the car had all original paint on it! I am repainting it the original color (Citron Yella), which was only available in 1971.
'78 Plymouth Super Coupe
I picked up this car to 'flip' it for some cash to put into the Dart. It hasn't worked out quite as well as I had hoped. It's a 'rare' car (not even 500 of them were made), and they are hard to find. However, 'rare' does not always equal 'desirable' as I'm finding out!
